“Chiva” (2024)

This painting is in memory of the city of Chiva in the Valencia region in Spain, which was devastated by floods in the autumn of 2024. The blue and grey paint totally overflow the white and coloured part of the original painting, by means of very subtle tilting. What is left is chaos and destruction of all that was there before, just like in Chiva.

Size is 60cm x 80cm, boat paint and oil on canvas with a grey wooden frame.
