“Under Water” (2023)

As with many dripping works, I just start with an empty canvas, choose and paint a background colour and start dripping. Only after 4 or 5 layers of paint, the painting starts to shape itself. In this case, after doing the gold coloured paint, it was clear that the painting was done. And when looking at it for a while, the depth and the shapes made it look like an under water world to me.

Size is 90cm x 90cm, boat paint on canvas, without frame.
