“Wild Fire” (2024)

There is a build up to this painting, as many of my works, it creates itself. The red colour in the background is spray paint covering a previous ‘error’ on the canvas. When mixing three colours of drip paint did not create the wanted feeling, I added the green paint and tilted it to create depth and the sense of fire, giving the work exactly what it was lacking.

Size is 60cm x 80cm, boat paint and spray paint on canvas, without frame.
